The Bar Prep Course Scholarship
Kayla Bowden
“Much like the founders of the organization, I am very committed to increasing diversity in the legal field. I would love to increase minority representation for individuals who look like us. As a young mother and a first generation law student, it has been a great financial fee to get this far in my career.”
The Law School Application Fee Scholarship
Sandy Lacrete
"As a second-generation immigrant, I am deeply aware of the challenges that migrants face as they move and settle in this country. I want to work as an immigration attorney to provide solutions to these obstacles. I am also interested in justice reform and working to reduce incarceration and sentencing disparities."
Tyleeah Stanley
"There are only 5% of black attorneys in the field. There is not enough diversity in the American legal system meaning there is not enough representation for Black people. I desire to assist the underrepresented and encourage other minorities to strive towards a similar goal."
The LSAT Fee Scholarship
Jade Miller
"I want to go to law school to pursue Juvenile and Family Law because as a social worker, I’ve learned so much about how necessary advocacy is for children and youth of color who are arguable the most vulnerable individuals in our society."
Zairia Moore
"I may not be an expert on the law, but when I witness Black men and women being handled unfairly, a desire to help ignites inside me. It is not just my community that is affected, but also those who are less fortunate. I want to be a voice for the voiceless. Overall, I believe it is my calling to assist others and to do my best to make noise while everyone else is silent."
